10th--Mike Goodman (anakinso)

We're redrawing for the final table.

Ten left and one big pot--Alex Brenes Out

A few seconds ago, Alex Brenes raised pre-flop, Mikael Westerlund announced all in. After some thought, Brenes called. Westerlund showed AQd. Brenes disgustedly slapped A7s on the table. As Brenes family chanted in Spanish for Brenes' seven, the dealer laid out the flop, turn, and river. Neith hand improved and Westerlund raked a pot that was sonewhere in the eighborhood of $600K.

$45,000
11th--Alex Brenes

Alex Balandin (ignatiousj) is still the chip leader with just over $900K in chips. Greg Debore has fallen back from his $600K high-water mark, but is still holding on.

Play resumes as we speak with 35 minutes to go in the level.

Eleven left

Short-stacked Patrick Antonius (patman) pushed in his remaininig $44k. Patrick Hocking (TheHawk) has been fidinig pocket pairs all day and turned up TT. Antonius never improved.

$34,600
12th--Patrick Antonius (patman)

Twelve left

Moments ago, online qualifier Shawn Buchanan went in for his last $28K under the gun. The room laughed with him when he got four callers. The BB, Alex Balandin ended up taking the hand down with a king after a king came on the flop and Buchanan's A9 only improved to a pair of nines.

$25,900
13th--Shawn Buchanan (buck21)

We're playing six-handed now with an hour to go at the 6000/12000 level.

Level 15 Ends, five more bust outs, 13 remain ....with a Level 16 update

As I headed over to write this report, I had to change the headline three times. It's getting wild in here.

Before the last hand, Anders Henriksson busted out with A2 vs. Alex Brenes' AA. Maryland Jeff Henry got beat by a runner-runner flush. Allen Cunningham's AKs ran into AA. Then on the last hand at table one, short-stacked Pat Walsh went in with a pocket pair but got beat on the river. At the other table, Michael Woo called a big raise from Nenad Medic. Medic announced all-in in the dark as the dealer laid out a queen-rag-rag flop.

"You're all-in?" Woo said?

"Yes," Medic replied.

Woo called, flipping up pocket eights, wincing as Medic flipped pocket aces. Woo is still hanging on, but barely.

Here are the bust-outs since dinner:

$20,800
18th--Anders Henriksson (gambler1)
17th--Jeff Henry(The Shrike)

$25,900
16th--Allen Cunningham (Acunningham)
15th--Pat Walsh (PW756)

Greg Debora and Alex Balandin are still the big chip leaders and are doing their best not to tangle with each other. Patrick Hocking, Alex Brenes, And Nenad Medic are feeling much better after winning hands with their aces.

As I finished typing this, Woo lost the rest of his chips.

$25,900
14th--Michael Woo (hh1689)

Recharging the batteries--Dinner and 18 players

After six hours of play, 18 competitors remain out of today's starting field of 56. With just a little bit of time before play resumes, a full report will have to wait until later tonight. Until then, here are a few photos to pass the time.

Scroll down for the final two tables and approximate chip counts.

Then, the river brought another ten, givinig the bigger boat back to Zolotow.

Level 14 Complete--Evelyn Ng busts

Just moments ago, Evelyn Ng, who was among the chip leaders in the final 23 players, lost her entire stack to online qualifier Greg Debora (ChosenKid). Debora raised preflop to $22K (blinds were 3000/6000). Ng made it $72K to go. Debora pushed all in. Ng asked for a count. Debora had her covered. Ng thought for two minutes before calling. Debora flipped up 66 (one was a club). Ng had AKo with no clubs (see where this is going?). The flop came with an ace and two clubs. Running clubs on the turn and river gave Debora the runner-runner flush and sent Ng home in 22nd place. Debora, the 22 year-old online qualifier has an almost uncountable stack of chips, and sits at the same table with Steve Zolotow, Spyro Mitrokostas, and Allen Cunningham.

Williams held KQo. Lawson held AJo. The button held QJo. The flop and turn were rages, the river an ace. Lawson just tripled up, Williams bounced.
